What Mesmerize Means to Me
I definitely enjoy seeing the effects they have on my subs and especially on guys who are new to mesmerize clips. It feels kinda like having a lab of your own where you carry out experiments of your own choice on the little lab rats that are our subbies haha. It is definitely very empowering and for someone who particularly enjoys the mind game aspect of Femdom, seeing how subs respond to different triggers and visual effects, as well as subliminal suggestions, is the most intriguing part of it all.
I also enjoy editing videos and discovering new effects that I can use and how I can mix them together to create something amazing and super visually appealing! I sometimes end up mesmerizing myself in the process of creating a clip, not to mention the many times it happened during sessions, despite the absence of effects haha.
Why is Mesmerize Fetish So Popular?
I think that most subs are looking for an escape from their boring day-to-day life, above anything else. That’s why escapism is such a big thing in Femdom, in general. And mesmerize clips help with that quite a lot. While it might be fun to submit to a hot woman and do a bunch of tasks or disgusting things for her, nothing truly compares to the feeling of escaping reality.
Also, a lot of subs find it difficult to let go of control and fully submit when they are in their normal, rational state, so slowly helping them drift away from reality is definitely something that helps them give up control, drift into a state of unconsciousness and allow for their submissive side to come to light.
In my case, in particular, I think that has always been part of my brand, since my name is HypnoticNatalie and originally, my clip store, was only focused on mesmerize clips. I only later started to try out other fetishes, but I would say that my main focus has always been to mesmerize. That being said, I automatically attracted guys who are into this fetish to my store, as I think we all attract different subs based on our persona, our style and so on.

Since I am firstly a cam model and only secondly a clip maker, my focus has always been on cam sessions, which I still do. More than 50% of my subs still ask for intox in our sessions. The Role of Special Effects
I would say that it definitely helps to play around with effects, both visual and auditory, because it does create a more intense experience for subs. Since we talked about escapism, being able to escape reality is made easy with such effects.
I don’t think that you need a lot of special equipment and the knowledge that you have about mesmerize plays a more important role than the special effects and equipment. When I first started out, I used to make clips with my phone and those are still some of the most sought-after clips in my store. They are also the clips that made it into the top 10 and top 20 many times on iWantClips when I started, many years ago.
Some subs will also complain that when they bought clips that had too many effects and were too intense to watch, they got turned off from buying future clips from that Domme. I think sometimes less is more and that applies to effects too!
Industry Trends
I have noticed that for a few years now, green screen type of mesmerize clips have been increasingly in demand and more and more girls are starting to make them.
I definitely like the way filming with a green screen gives you so much room to play around and add special effects, so thank you, Princess Miki (I think it is her who started it), for starting this trend on iWantClips.
I’ve also noticed that more and more subs are starting to discover the fetish and get curious about it. If a few years ago, guys mostly bought clips on CEI and coerced bi, nowadays mesmerize seems to be up there at the top of the list of fetishes guys look for online. I saw it being #1 among the clips that subs buy on iWantClips several times and I definitely love seeing more and more subs discover their passion for being mesmerized!
Advice to Fellow Dommes
I would firstly advise girls to learn as much as they can about this particular fetish. Familiarize themselves with the psychology behind it, what happens in the mind of a sub and how the different triggers and mesmerize styles affect him. Knowledge is definitely the most powerful here.
I personally took a mesmerize course in the past and became certified in the field. Although that course was definitely not focused on mesmerize as part of Femdom and erotic content, I did learn a lot of very useful things from taking the course that can very easily be adapted to the industry. By mixing that knowledge with the knowledge I have from being a Domme for so many years, I’ve created a dangerous combination of awareness and skills.
I would also say it is important to develop a style of your own and decide what suits you best, rather than trying to reproduce what you’ve seen other girls do. Trust me, subs always love seeing a new way of doing mesmerize. Don’t focus too much on buying expensive equipment, but more on developing a style and a persona and then just try out different editing programs until you find something you like. Journey to Mesmeric Realms
I really enjoy crafting a nuanced journey in my mesmerize clips. I want the viewer to have an immersive experience and carefully select and combine visual and auditory elements specific to the feeling I want to inspire in whomever is watching. Sometimes this may be simple visuals, combined with an NLP-laden voiceover to drive a message deep into a slave’s subconscious levels. Other times, I use intense visual and auditory effects to heavily stimulate the viewer. I love to create cathartic escapism, and I carefully and deliberately choose every element to bring the viewer to a world of my own design. In my spare time I enjoy writing poetry, and I love to bring symbolic and metaphoric language to the narrative, to build the cadence of the clip.

I use a Sony Alpha A7 III to film my content and edit everything in Adobe After Effects – this means that my content has professional level cinematography. I use lighting to create areas of focus and shadow and will push this further in post-production colour grading to add to the aesthetic I have constructed. I have a real passion for filmmaking, and constantly seek to push the boundaries of what is possible in the industry. Each creative mesmerize clip takes 200 to 300 hours of input from me from initial concept to final render.

Advice for Artists Venturing into Mesmerize Content
To answer this question, let’s look at my personal journey. I have taught myself everything I know and had no prior filming or editing experience. I’ve spent many hours learning from YouTube tutorials, or by simply using trial and error. I film and edit everything myself, in a two metre section of my living room. If I could offer advice, it is that you absolutely do not need expensive courses, equipment, or a filming studio to create a fantastic mesmerize clip. The only thing you need is a willingness to learn from free online tutorials, a couple of inexpensive lights, and a plain backdrop or greenscreen.
